Anant Gangola leads this initiative with the outreach to other practicing organizations and provides overall support in the selection of practitioners and in research. He leads the Field Practice and Student Affairs teams of the Azim Premji University. His experience includes working with the tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh. As part of the literacy mission, he has worked on issues related to school education with the government and at the Azim Premji Foundation.
Mujahidul Islam manages the overall technology and design of the Practice Connect website. He is an Edtech Specialist and looks after the digital ways of learning at the Azim Premji University. His expertise lies in ideating and running appropriate, simple and cost effective digital solutions (platform, tools and content) in the field of Education and Development.
Subrat Mishra supports the selection of practitioners’ function and provides coordination support between practice organizations and the Practice Connect team. He is program manager of the Field Practice and Students Affairs team of the Azim Premji University. He has worked extensively with communities across Bihar and Jharkhand and has experience in engaging with communities on public health issues with specialization in community-based rehabilitation; approach towards disability and mental health.
V Santhakumar provides research support to this initiative. He has been a professor at the Azim Premji University since 2011. He taught at the Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum during 1996-2011. In addition to a number of research articles, he has authored six books published by Sage and Oxford University Press. He has been an international consultant to many organizations, such as the Asian Development Bank and the UNEP; and has research experience in different countries in Asia and Latin America.
